Now Hiring: Career Readiness Coordinator
The Career Readiness Coordinator will design and implement programming that prepares first-generation students for professional careers. Working with students from 12th grade through college graduation, the Coordinator will provide individualized advising, workshops, and employer connections that help students explore pathways, build career skills, and secure jobs aligned with their goals.
Additionally, the Coordinator will develop programming for First in Family’s new Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship Track (launching in 2026-27), supporting students who pursue alternative postsecondary pathways. This includes overseeing the selection, onboarding, and wraparound support for CTE scholars.
Interested candidates should send a cover letter and resume to charlotte@firstinfamilyjh.org.
If you emailed a cover letter and resume and have not heard back from us, please resend to the email address above. Some emails have not come through.
We plan to review applications at the end of February.
“They are a great help since our parents never went to college we knew nothing about the process nor our parents. They helped us as if we were their children applying to college.”
