Our Mission

First in Family Jackson Hole provides local first generation students with essential advising and financial support to succeed in college and beyond.

Our Vision

Expand educational opportunities so all first generation students in our community can pursue their academic and professional dreams.

The idea for First in Family began among friends at a weekly breakfast group, members of which now serve on the scholarship’s steering committee. The original committee included Zach Hall, Julie Giacobassi, Joe Albright, Lety Liera, Mary Speyer and Charlie Thomson. More recently the committee has grown to include Carol Peck, Nataly Hernandez, Chase Beninga and Laura Yockey.
